SUEÑO DE SIRENA
Sueña la oscura sirena
con corales tan rojos,
como sus ojos.
La mansa ola
rompe en espuma
sobre la arena de su sueño.
Gritan lejanas,
las gaviotas salvajes
que la despiertan.
Y con húmedos dedos,
(suspira un poco)
va trenzando, graciosa,
las algas en su pelo.

MERMAID DREAM
The mermaid of the deep
dreams of corals
as red as her eyes.
The gentle wave
breaks afoam
on the sand of her dream.
In the distance,
the seagulls cry
and wake her up.
With wet fingers
(and sighing a little)
she is gracefully wavering,
seaweed in her hair.

VIS DE SIRENĂ
Sirena adâncurilor visează
corali atât de roșii,
ca ochii ei de roșii.
Blândul val
se sparge înspumat
pe nisipul visului ei.
În depărtare,
pescărușii sălbatici
țipă trezind-o.
Iar cu degete umede
(ușor suspinând)
se împleticește cu grație
cu alge prinse în păr.
